Aromatherapy education

Aromacare provides education in aromatherapy. All sessions are tailored to meet the identified needs of the aged care, health or community care provider.  These sessions ensure staff have a basic training in the safe use of essential oils and Aromacare's aromatherapy products. 

Aromacare uses a range of approaches to support participants learning, including the provision of knowledge and the demonstration and use of techniques and equipment.  An interactive environment is encouraged where participants are free to discuss their experience and explore how aromatherapy may be used to support their clients' care needs. 

The theoretical component covers aromatherapy's benefits, effective essential oil combinations, applications, contraindications, essential oil storage and safety precautions.  

By providing practical training for your care team enables them to follow the Aromatherapist's care plans and put aromatherapy into practice. With the assistance of a qualified aromatherapist, staff recognise when to use and how to apply therapeutic interventions when providing care to people.

Conditions 

The session price is for a 1hour face-to face period with a maximum of 15 participants conducted within metropolitan Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney. Zoom sessions are also available.
