We are currently recruiting nationwide across All States and are seeking compassionate therapists to join our supportive and professional team.
About the Role
As a Sessional Therapist with Aromacare, you will travel to aged care facilities to provide aromatherapy and massage services to elderly residents. This role is ideal for therapists who value meaningful work, enjoy building genuine connections with older people, and prefer a calm and respectful working environment.
You will be supported by established Aromacare systems, premium-quality products, and ongoing professional guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with aged care managers and staff
- Assess the individual aromatherapy and massage needs of residents
- Develop and document personalised aromatherapy care plans
- Deliver planned aromatherapy and massage treatments
- Monitor and report on treatment outcomes
- Train and support direct care staff in basic aromatherapy use
- Work professionally and compassionately within aged care settings
About You
We are looking for therapists who are:
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with elderly people
- Respectful, attentive, and person-centred in their approach
- Confident communicators with good English verbal and written skills
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Well organised and able to work independently
Experience working with elderly people or within aged care settings is a huge bonus, but not essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Aromatherapy and/or Massage Therapy (or equivalent qualification)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Current Police Check
- COVID-19 Digital Vaccination Certificate (when required)
- Current Influenza Vaccination Certificate
- Applicants need to have their own ABN or ACN.
A certificate in beauty is not required but will be considered a plus.
